five pounds later

thanksgiving was a blast. Jami & Vicky are both wonderful cooks and brought lots of wonderful goodies for dinner including a surprise of french bread, goat and fresh mozzarela cheese, and vine ripened tomatoes to start. yummy.

believe it or not there’s not much food left, but i think our friends ended up with a lot of turkey leftovers. i see turkey soup and sandwiches in their immediate future. i used a new pecan pie recipe that i think i’m pretty fond of. it might require just a little less sugar. i think the key here is definately dark corn syrup vs. light.
